In addition to our existing NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 53 Certifications, we are excited to announce that ALL WaterChef Drinking Water Filtration Systems are now Gold Seal Certified by WQA (Water Quality Association) for the reduction of Mercury and NSF/ANSI Standard 401 for Emerging Contaminants / Incidental Compounds – this certification includes Pesticides, Herbicides, Pharmaceuticals, and Detergents!

What Does This Mean for You?

In an industry riddled with unvalidated and exaggerated performance claims, you can rest assured that WaterChef premium drinking water systems have been extensively tested by the most trusted third-party testing organizations in the water filtration industry – NSF and WQA. With the addition of the new WQA Gold Seal Certifications, WaterChef drinking water systems are now certified for the reduction of 75 common tap water contaminants including Mercury, DEET, BPA and Nonylphenol, as well as commonly found medications including Ibuprofen and Estrone (estrogen).

Oh, and don't worry, WaterChef drinking water systems were already reducing all these contaminants – now we have the official third-party certifications to back it up!
